Orange County Classical Academy (OCCA), is a Public Charter School who serves students from TK (Transitional-Kinder) through 11th grade, across two campuses: lower-school campus in Orange and upper-school campus in Santa Ana (ten min distance between the two campuses). The Mission of Orange County Classical Academy is to develop students in mind and character through a classical, content-rich liberal arts and sciences curriculum that emphasizes the principles of scholarship, moral character, and civic virtue. OCCA is under the El Dorado Charter SELPA. Our growing special education team consists of qualified, professional, and dedicated service providers and therapists, who share the passion of supporting our students in special education. The students in special education consists of approximately 10% of the student population. We provide services to our students in both the push-in and pull -out method (pushing into classrooms/ collaborating/ co-teaching and pulling-out into a separate classroom/ small group)- resource and inclusion model. Job Overview OCCA is seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our special education team. In this vital role, you will be expected to evaluate/assess, plan, and implement therapy following a child's IEP. We value an Occupational Therapist who can collaborate and bring their expertise, creativity, and ideas to our growing program.
