Job Summary
The Executive Director of Inclusive Services for All Learners, in collaboration with the Executive Director of Learning and Innovation, supports the MUSD Strategic Goals by implementing evidence-based, innovative school and program models to ensure all students have access to culturally relevant learning environments. The Executive Directors are the District’s research and design thinking leaders, responsible for identifying and scaling creative ideas that work throughout the district in partnership with stakeholders. The Executive Director has the responsibility of fostering MUSD’s vision, mission, and core values; and inspiring innovation, iteration, and collaboration throughout the District, particularly in the areas of inclusive, special education, and social emotional learning strategies, Universal Design, learning pathways to career, professional learning, project-based, and applied learning. The Executive Director provides direction to and builds the capacity of the district support team in working creatively and effectively to improve the learning experiences, outcomes for student achievement, and social-emotional strategies for all students. Innovation is driven by a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement that is reflective and data-based; most of which is driven by curiosity, risk-taking, and experimentation. The focal point of this position is to facilitate brain-based learning theories with best practices to support the design of a model that reflects a learner who has developed life and career readiness skills.
Requirements / Qualifications
