The Sacramento City Unified School District seeks a dynamic, equity driven instructional leader to serve as Principal of Hollywood Park Elementary beginning July 2026. Hollywood Park is a welcoming school that serves a deeply connected and supportive community. The ideal candidate brings strong knowledge of special education instructional practices, IEP development and implementation, and compliance and progress monitoring. A solid understanding of English Learner instruction and language development is essential. This leader demonstrates expertise in high quality literacy instruction and MTSS frameworks, using data driven interventions to accelerate student growth. The successful candidate leverages instructional technology as a strategic tool to expand access, deepen engagement, and support student learning. Shared leadership and authentic collaboration are central to Hollywood Park's success. The next principal will intentionally lift up the leadership capacity of teachers and staff, creating a culture of trust where educators feel empowered to innovate, contribute ideas, and grow professionally while also feeling supported. Requirements / Qualifications
TRAINING, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE: A bachelor's degree from an approved institution is required. Advanced degrees are preferred. A minimum of five years of certificated experience in public or private schools is required, and preference will be given for additional elementary school teaching experience, administrative, or supervisorial experience at the elementary level. Preference given to bilingual speakers, and expertise in vital programs within individual schools including, but not limited to, STEAM, Montessori, Dual Immersion, Waldorf, etc. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Hold a valid Administrative Services Credential issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing is required.

- Credential Copy (or Document Number listed on CTC/if enrolled in an intern program or preliminary program must provide letter from program verifying enrollment and expected completion of program (for intern program, letter must state you are intern eligible))
- Letter of Introduction
- Letter(s) of Recommendation (3 signed letters dated within 1 year of the application window; letters beyond 1 year or undated will not be accepted)
- Resume (current and up-to-date)
