The Multilingual Learner Specialist (MLS) is a passionate instructional leader responsible for advancing literacy and language development outcomes for all learners at Gabriella Charter School 2, with a focused commitment to multilingual learners. The MLS provides coaching to teachers and instructional support staff, leads high-impact professional learning, and strengthens both designated and integrated English Language Development (ELD). This role builds teacher capacity in evidence-based literacy instruction, leverages data to inform instructional decision-making, and establishes systems that accelerate multilingual learner achievement. The MLS also develops and implements family literacy initiatives that promote literacy and biliteracy across the school community.
