Job Summary
Job Summary
- Provide general maintenance and repair for all classrooms and offices. - Ensure all furniture, equipment, plumbing, lawn sprinklers systems, electrical, windows, internal and exterior surfaces are maintained in a secure and working condition. - Able to respond to an emergency situation (facility damage, roof leaks, floods etc.) for the safety of Child and Family Services families, children and staff. - Responsible for ordering and purchasing needed supplies for the Early Head Start/Head Start classrooms. - Delivering supplies to all department sites within 5 business days. - Other duties as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required. - Two years work experience in construction or general maintenance. - Must be able to work days, early evenings and occasional Saturdays as needed. - Ability to lift and/or move up to 25-50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds. - Valid California driver license and insured reliable transportation.
