Job Summary
Newcastle Elementary School District is seeking a collaborative, student-centered leader to serve as Principal of Newcastle Elementary Charter School. The Principal provides instructional, operational, and cultural leadership for the school and works closely with the Superintendent, District leadership team, and Board of Trustees. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong instructional leadership, sound judgment, and a commitment to building positive relationships with students, staff, and families. This highly visible role is responsible for fostering a positive school culture, supporting high-quality teaching and learning, supervising staff, and ensuring the effective day-to-day operation of the school.
Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications Education and Credentials - Valid California Administrative Services Credential - Master’s degree from an accredited institution is preferred Experience - Successful classroom teaching experience - Demonstrated leadership experience in a school setting - 2 years site administrator experience is preferred
