Job Summary
Extended School Year is a popular summer program run by our Special Education Department for 20 days after the close of the school year. It's a fun and rewarding program where educators can work alongside our talented Special Education staff to support students with special needs. If you're looking for a fun and challenging opportunity to earn some extra money while supporting our incredible students, this is a great program to work for! Program Dates are as follows (we ask that all applicants commit to working the entirety of the program): - June 12th: Training & Orientation Day - June 15th: First Day for Students - June 19th: Juneteenth Holiday (No Work) - July 3rd: Independence Day Holiday (No Work) - July 10th: Last Day for Students/Program Ends

• Application • Resume Education and Experience: Credential (Required): Valid California Education Specialist Credential - Moderate/Severe or Extensive Support Needs EL Authorization Experience (Required): A minimum of one (1) year of teaching experience
Other Requirements: These requirements must be met prior to beginning employment and will be requested upon job offer acceptance. Mandated Child Abuse Reporter Training certificate (online, free) Fingerprint clearance with NCSOS (paid for by employer) Pre-employment physical (paid for by employer) Valid tuberculosis clearance PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU CAN COMMIT TO WORKING THE ENTIRE LENGTH OF THE PROGRAM (19 DAYS).
