Placer School for Adults is seeking a passionate, dedicated, culturally competent, full-time credentialed educator to serve in the dual role of Adult Education Teacher / Coordinator of Curriculum, Instruction, and Programs (CCIP), supporting our Inmate Education Program across three instructional sites. This 196-day position includes 50% teaching at the full Adult Education hourly rate and 50% CIP responsibilities focused on compliance, CASAS coordination, technology support, and program operations. The role works closely with our existing PSA CIP and plays a key part in ensuring high-quality instruction and program integrity. The main worksite is at the South Placer County Jail, and also includes working/teaching at the Auburn Main Jail .5 Adult Education Teacher position will teach 20 hours per week
Requirements / Qualifications
Applicants must have at least one of the following valid California credentials: Single Subject Teaching Credential, Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, Special Education Teaching Credential or Adult Education Teaching Credential and be EL Authorized or be in a preparation program to acquire the credential at the time of closing.
