As part of a secondary teaching assignment, teaches one or more classes in the general field of English to pupils in grades 9-12; and assists in other school programs as assigned.

Requirements / Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Possess valid California teaching credential in the field of instruction. 2. Appropriate documentation authorizing instruction to English language learners. 3. A minimum of three years of successful classroom teaching experience, preferably at the 9-12 grade level; 4. Knowledge of the elements of effective instruction, curriculum concepts and materials pertinent to the 9-12 grade level;

APPLICATION PROCEDURE: A complete application packet must include the following: 1. Edjoin employment application 2. Letter of Introduction 3. Resume 4. Three current letters of reference 5. Copies of credential(s) and transcript(s) 6. A Certificate of Eligibility letter issued by your current credential program
