Locations: (4) Assignments at New Technology High School (1) Assignment at American Canyon High School June 16, 2026 – July 10, 2026 (Instruction starts on June 17, 2026) Non-Work Days 6/19/26 and 7/3/26. You must work the day before and day after the holiday in order to get paid for it. Hours: 5 hpd- 8:30 am – 2:00 pm (1/2 an hour lunch) Range: 22

Requirements / Qualifications

Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities Under direction and supervision of a principal/teacher/other certificated staff member, assists in the process of providing for the instructional and personal needs of students possessing a wide range of behavioral, physical, language, and learning capabilities. Assignments are made to support instruction and intervention of all students in general education classrooms and programs, including students with or without IEPs. May be assigned to assist a specific student or students regularly, but will be working in a school setting where interaction and generalized supervision of any and all students is expected. Distinguishing Career Features This is an instructional support position working primarily with students needing mild/moderate specialized services as determined by an IEP.

EXCEPTIONS TO TAKING THIS TEST ARE: Possession of a current California Teacher Credential, possession of an AA degree or higher, or at least 48 units, OR CBEST (California Basic Education Skills Test).
