Job Summary

The Education Specialist coordinates and provides direct services, consultation, and instruction to individuals with exceptional needs in accordance with special education services and programs of John Adams Academy. The Education Specialist manages the learning environment of scholars enrolled in our educational program in accordance with the philosophy, goals, and objectives of the Board of Trustees and in compliance with the laws of California. The Education Specialist employs the American Classical Leadership Education model which presupposes that each individual is born with a unique and individual mission to fulfill. American Classical Leadership Education at John Adams Academy consists of discovering, preparing for, and fulfilling the mission of restoring America’s heritage by developing servant leaders. At John Adams Academy, the Education Specialist educates scholars “how to think” and teaches them why it is important. They implement the curriculum to develop classically educated leaders who are prepared to motivate and inspire individuals, communities, and nations to a greater good in an environment of freedom and prosperity that naturally produces the best society has to offer.
