- In anticipation of possible openings in our special education teaching department, we are posting in search of interested applicants. Roles could vary from .5 to 1.0 positions. - In addition to the regular salary schedule placement, special education teachers in our district also receive an annual stipend that is listed below in the "Comments" section.

Requirements / Qualifications

Valid California Credential CLAD, or equivalent Education Specialist Instruction Credential (Mild/Moderate) Autism Authorization ESSA Compliant Applicants should be proficient in delivering specialized academic instruction to students with identified special needs in accordance with IEPs; competent in conducting assessments to identify areas of need related to academic performance at school. Annual Special Education Stipend: $2,000 (Years 1-3) $2,500 (Years 4-6) $3,000 (Years 7-9) $4,000 (Years 10+) Credit will be given for up to twelve years of experience.
