Job Summary
The Executive Director serves as a senior district-level leader responsible for providing strategic oversight, coordination, and execution of cross-departmental initiatives that advance the District’s instructional, operational, and student-support priorities. This position is an overarching executive role ensuring alignment, coherence, and effectiveness of districtwide programs and improvement efforts.
Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Master’s degree or advanced degree from an accredited college or university (desired). Valid administrative and/or supervisory credential. Teaching credential and a minimum of five (5) years of teaching experience. Minimum of three (3) years of increasingly responsible administrative or leadership experience. Experience as a site or district administrator preferred.

ESSENTIAL TYPES OF DUTIES - Experience in Special Education is Desired
Provide executive leadership for districtwide initiatives aligned with Board goals and LCAP.
Coordinate cross-departmental planning, implementation, and evaluation of initiatives.
Mentor and support directors, coordinators, and administrators.
Analyze student, program, and operational data to drive continuous improvement.
Serve as liaison to community, governmental, and educational partners.
Collaborate on budget development, fiscal oversight, and grant implementation.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and collective bargaining agreements.
Collaborate closely with HR and position control
Perform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent or designee.
