Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Superintendent, the Health Support Specialist will assist in the care of children with medical conditions by performing specialized health care procedures and other health-related duties as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications
Letter of intent/resume 3 Current letters of recommendation Bilingual desired Currently holds or is eligible for one or more of the following certificates or licenses: Licensed Vocational Nurse (L.V.N.) Registered Nurse (R.N.) Emergency Medical Technician II (E.M.T. II) Other Health Certification acceptable to the District.
Additional Requirements: Current Driver's License DOJ and FBI Background Clearances (at time of hire) TB (tuberculin) clearance (at time of hire) Completion of district mandated training (within 30 days of hire) Successfully complete related WorkSteps physical (if applicable, at time of hire)
