SDCCS is seeking qualified candidates for the 2026-2027 school year. SDCCS is a child-centered, progressive, constructivist school with a focus on academic excellence and social-emotional learning. Please see our website for more information www.sdccs.org Strong Candidates will: Cooperatively plan with the grade level and special education teams. Manage a caseload and provide Occupational Therapy for students with disabilities in an inclusive setting, provide accommodations and modifications to the general education curriculum, conduct assessments and support testing, and provide interventions for student behaviors. Builds effective relationships with parents and students through regular communication and is available to students and parents for education-related purposes, e.g., open houses, conferences, and extra-curricular activities. Participates in professional growth and development and stays current with research through continuing education, educational seminars, workshops, conferences, and attendance at school-sponsored training. Works collaboratively with the special education team and adheres to timelines and compliance factors. Completes other duties as assigned. Maintains a strong, regular personal attendance record.

Innovative, inclusion based charter school in San Diego is seeking certified OT to serve TK-8th grade students. Must be able to function as a member of the multidisciplinary team in providing assessment, consultation to parents and teachers, and consultation services/direct treatment services for pupils with disabling conditions.
Abilities:
- Interact with and maintain cooperative relationships with all levels of staff and the public
- Communicate effectively in the English language both orally and in writing
- Communicate occupational therapy treatment techniques and goals effectively to parents, teachers, doctors and other program staff
- Document and quantify objectives for O.T. intervention
Varied caseload, push-in and pull-out service delivery model. Ability to collaborate, knowledge of sensory integration theory and strategies, and current CA licensure a must; school experience preferred.
