Job Summary
Job Summary
This position will coordinate and monitor new teacher support programs to include the Palmdale School District Induction Program and other new teacher supports, including administration of Program requirements, facilitation and development of professional learning, and internal monitoring systems.
Requirements / Qualifications
Possession of an appropriate, valid California driver’s license with regular access to a vehicle.
Valid California clear teaching credential.

Comments and Other Information
Two or more years of administrative experience or equivalent experience as a PSD full time instructional coach.
MA/MS or higher degree in education or a related field.
Knowledge:
• Knowledge of California State Induction Program requirements and credentialing pathways leading to preliminary and clear California teaching credentials.
• Knowledge of California Standards for the Teaching Profession.
• Knowledge of adult learning theory and job-embedded, inquiry driven learning.
• Knowledge of best practices in mentoring and coaching.
• Knowledge of current, diverse instructional best practices.
• Knowledge of PSD curriculum, categorical, and special programs.
