About the Employer

The Goleta Union School District (GUSD) serves approximately 3,384 students in preschool through sixth grade across nine elementary schools. All schools offer transitional kindergarten and strong support services, including special education and mental health, in addition to after-school care at all nine schools supporting approximately 1,500 students. GUSD offers embedded programs to address specific needs of gifted students and English Learners across the district. Each school maintains a 1.0–1.5 full time positions to support intervention needs for all students. Job Summary

Hours 7:45am to 2:00pm Monday through Friday. Under the direction of assigned administrator and certificated staff, assists in providing instruction and supervision to students or groups of students; observes, monitors, documents, and reports student progress regarding academics, social skills, and behavior; and performs related duties as assigned. Work shift 7:45am - 2:00pm.
