THE POSITION: The Coordinator I will lead the development and delivery of professional learning, training, and curriculum resources to equip schools and districts in Los Angeles County to better support immigrant families, including newcomers, with a strong emphasis on wellness and family engagement.
Requirements / Qualifications
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: Experience: Minimum of two years’ experience in n supporting immigrant, newcomer, or multilingual student populations. Bilingual in Spanish preferred. Education: Master’s degree in social work, counseling, education, or a closely related field required. LICENSE OR CERTIFICATE (Must attach a detailed certification/credential with document number to application): • Pupil Personnel Services Credential in Social Work and Child Welfare & Attendance (required). • License (preferred) or registration as a Clinical Social Worker issued by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (required)
