Are you a security-focused IT professional looking to make a massive impact on the digital landscape of the schools in Nevada County? We are seeking a Network and Security Administrator to manage our critical infrastructure and oversee the NevcoNet ISP, ensuring seamless connectivity for all schools across the county. In this role, you’ll tackle everything from advanced cybersecurity measures and disaster recovery to supporting our Network Operations Center with high-level technical expertise. You will work with cutting-edge technologies like Palo Alto and Ruckus Networks in a dynamic fast paced environment that truly values continuous professional growth. Requirements / Qualifications
Education and Experience: A combination of training and experience, which would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities, may be qualifying. We reserve the right to determine if a candidate meets the qualifications. • At least two (2) years progressively responsible work experience in Information Technology, public school or government entity experience with an emphasis on networking, and cybersecurity. • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in computer and network technologies or another closely related field is desirable. Two years of experience may be substituted for one year of education.
