GATEWAY UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR: Cook - Grand Oaks Elementary School 6.00 hrs/day Shift schedule: 7 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. (1/2 hour unpaid lunch) SALARY: $19.16 - $26.14 per/hr - Range E (Includes vacation factor) 182 work days (14 District paid holidays) Includes contribution to a retirement system and access to health, dental, and vision benefits with District contribution EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION Any combination of experience and training that would provide the required knowledge and skill. A typical way to obtain the required knowledge and skill would be: Experience •One year of experience in quantity baking, cooking, salad preparation and food service facility maintenance in a commercial, institutional or school food service facility. Education •Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade, supplemented by training or coursework in nutrition and in safety and sanitation procedures, or related areas.
