Job Summary
Under the direction of the Principal and/or School Administration, the Single Subject Teacher is responsible for effectively implementing the Academy’s curriculum and fostering a safe, positive learning environment. Single subject teaching assignments that may open include English, Math, STEM, Social Science, Science, and Foreign Language. This posting is to establish an eligibility pool for these potential opportunities.

Requirements / Qualifications To be considered, applicants must submit the following: -Copy of valid teaching credential (must indicate subject area) -Two (2) letters of reference -Cover letter -Résumé -Transcripts Important: You must include a copy of your credential and clearly state the subject(s) you are credentialed to teach. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Education and Experience: -Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university -Valid California Teaching Credential in designated subject area required -Single Subject Teaching Credential in English required -CLAD/ BCLAD/English Learner (EL) Certification OR the commitment to obtain certification within two (2) years of hire date required
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: -Employee must be available during the “core” school hours for the assigned school site and must work scheduled hours for the designated school year. Work is generally performed during regular work hours, but may require extended and/or weekend hours for urgent issues or to meet established timeframes.
