Job Summary
Oakland School for the Arts seeks a full-time (1.0 FTE) 1-on-1 Paraeducator to support the academic, artistic, and social-emotional development of a neurodiverse student. This position plays a critical role in helping students access the curriculum, develop executive functioning skills, and foster self-direction, while promoting inclusion and connection in the classroom community. Reporting to the Director of Special Education, the 1-on-1 Paraeducator will collaborate closely with the student’s case manager, school psychologist, and teachers to provide consistent, individualized support aligned with the student’s IEP and educational goals.
