Minimum Requirements – High School Special Day Class (SDC) Teacher Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential (Moderate/Severe or Moderate/Severe Support Needs, or Mild/Moderate Support Needs as appropriate for assignment) English Learner Authorization (CLAD, BCLAD, or embedded authorization) Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (Master’s degree preferred)
