Position Summary Under the direction of the Superintendent, the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources plans, organizes, and directs all District-wide Human Resources functions for classified and certificated employees. This position provides strategic leadership in employee relations, labor negotiations, recruitment and retention, classification and compensation, credentialing, staff development, risk management, Workers’ Compensation, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations while serving as a member of the Superintendent’s Executive Cabinet and supervise and evaluate assigned personnel. Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Valid California Administrative Services Credential (required). Master’s degree in education or a related field (preferred) Minimum of five (5) years of successful experience as a site or district administrator. Human Resources experience, including work with classified and certificated personnel Site level leadership experience preferred Valid California driver's license Bachelor’s degree and five years increasingly responsible Human Resources experience including work with classified and certificated personnel functions and two years in an administrative capacity.

Fingerprint and TB Clearance will be required as conditions of employment.
Completion of mandatory training for all staff will also be required as a preemployment requirement.
