Job Summary

Job Summary

El Rio Community School seeks a compassionate, organized, and collaborative Resource Specialist Program (RSP) Teacher to support students with learning differences in accessing a developmentally aligned, Waldorf-inspired public school education. The RSP Teacher plays a vital role in supporting students with IEPs by developing and delivering individualized instruction, collaborating with classroom teachers, and guiding families through the special education process. The ideal candidate values whole-child education, believes in the potential of every student, and can balance compliance with creativity in meeting student needs. Bilingual (Spanish) highly preferred.

Requirements / Qualifications

- Valid California Education Specialist Credential (Mild/Moderate or equivalent) - Experience developing and implementing IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines - Familiarity with or willingness to train in Waldorf education and developmental pedagogy - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Collaborative, flexible, and student-centered mindset - Commitment to equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive practices
