Reporting to the Director of Access, Equity and Compliance, the Speech & Language Pathologist plays a key role in meeting our commitment to support students’ journey toward empowerment. The SLP is responsible for supporting speech and language services at three campuses. They will oversee Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SPLAs) as the SPLAs screen, evaluate, and provide therapy, speech correction, and special training to students with a variety of communication disabilities. The SLP is responsible for monitoring, assessing, and adjusting therapy in response to student needs and regularly meeting and conferring with parents, staff, faculty, administrators, and others concerning the speech and other communication needs and issues of students.
