Hanford West High School NJROTC is seeking a highly motivated retired Navy, Marine or Coast Guard Officer (W2 – O5) to fill an immediate opening as the Senior Naval Science Instructor (SNSI). Retired enlisted applicants (E6 – E9) may also be considered. Duties include classroom instruction of Navy developed curriculum as well as program administrative functions. Involvement in afterschool and weekend unit activities is also required. This position offers a 12- month contract at Navy Minimum Instructor Pay (MIP) on a traditional school schedule. NJROTC certification is required and, if hired, the candidate must be willing to obtain the required ROTC credential. Requirements / Qualifications
Must be able to hold a valid CTE CA Designated Subjects Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) teaching credential or be eligible to apply. A letter providing verification of certification with the Navy will need to be provided prior to hire.

Comments and Other Information
The District will also provide a $4,200 stipend to the successful candidate for work in providing and supporting the NJROTC students in Extra-Curricular Activities. This stipend will be provided in two payments on December and May 20th less all applicable employment taxes.
