Job Summary
The Speech-Language Pathologist provides comprehensive speech and language services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and applicable state and federal special education laws. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing measurable goals, delivering direct and indirect therapy services, and monitoring student progress to support academic achievement and functional communication skills. The SLP collaborates with teachers, parents, administrators, and related service providers to ensure appropriate accommodations and interventions are implemented across instructional settings. The position requires maintaining accurate documentation, participating in IEP meetings, ensuring compliance with IDEA and SELPA requirements, and contributing to a supportive, inclusive learning environment aligned with CAAT’s educational mission.
