Job Summary
The Career Navigation Coordinator (CNC) empowers adult learners from diverse backgrounds to explore careers, build workforce skills, and transition into meaningful employment or postsecondary education. This dynamic role blends teaching, one-on-one coaching, and employer partnership development. Candidates bring at least three years of workforce or career services experience, strong knowledge of equitable hiring practices, and flexibility to work one or more evenings per week and occasional weekends for events. The certificated position is at the Coordinating Teacher hourly rate for 20 hours per week.
Requirements / Qualifications
• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. • Possess or be able to attain a California Teaching Credential: Adult Education Credential or an elementary or secondary credential. • Possess a valid California driver’s license and a reliable means of transportation. • Requires fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation.
