Job Summary
Reporting to the Principal or administrator designee, the Secondary Science Teacher will plan and deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction using a variety of strategies, resources, and assessments to meet diverse student needs and promote critical thinking, autonomy, and engagement. Establishes a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment by implementing Positive Behavior Supports, Restorative Practices, school-wide expectations, and appropriate de-escalation strategies while ensuring students’ rights are respected. Collaborates with colleagues, engages in ongoing professional learning, communicates regularly with families, and completes additional duties as assigned by school administrators.
