Job Summary
Adventure Academy provides standards-based virtual classes for TK–8 students, delivered by credentialed teachers, and designed to support learning coaches in meeting students’ academic, social, and developmental needs. The program offers two course types: Adventure Academy Signature Classes (four six-week sessions per year; classes meet once per week) Adventure Academy CORE (semester-long courses in reading, writing, and mathematics; classes meet three times per week to provide structured academic support) In addition to virtual class offerings, Adventure Academy teachers may host virtual or in-person field trips between sessions to support and enrich class experiences. Specific teaching assignments and intersession responsibilities are scheduled by Adventure Academy coordinators, who consider program needs, teacher preference, and equitable rotation when building assignments.

Valid California Multiple or Single Subject Teaching Credential with EL authorization Completed and updated application Updated resume Letter of Introduction All transcripts (front and back) 3 Letters of Recommendation (dated within one year) ((not required for Internal Candidates)) Updated AB2534 Employment History Credential Copy (not required for Internal Candidates)
