Job Summary

Job Title: Rising K-2 Summer School Teacher Job Description: We are seeking dedicated and passionate educators to teach Rising K-2 students during our 2026 summer school program. Teachers will work 4 days per week from June 15 to July 16, 2026, with teacher hours from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The program focuses on strengthening foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional development through engaging and interactive lessons. Key Details: Schedule: 4 days a week for 5 weeks, June 15 - July 16, 2026. Hours: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM (including student arrival/dismissal). Preparation: 3 professional learning days the week before summer school begins: June 9 - June 11, 2026 Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality, developmentally appropriate instruction. Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and families as needed. Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional learning days to enhance instructional strategies. Qualifications: Valid teaching license and experience teaching TK-2 students preferred. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Commitment to supporting all students in achieving success.
