Job Summary
Under the direction of the Principal and general supervision by the Coordinator, Special Education/Student Supports, the Preschool Special Day Class (SDC) Teacher helps students ages 3 -5 with mild/moderate disabilities achieve their maximum potential in the least restrictive environment; facilitates the implementation of the Individualized Education Program (IEP); adheres to State/Federal laws and regulations pertaining to special education; communicates with staff members and parents; and performs related work as required.
