Job Summary

The Lawndale Elementary School District is looking to hire an Administrative Assistant I for the State Preschool Department. This position is full-time, 12 months, 8 hours/day, that accumulates one paid vacation and sick day per month of employment. LESD pays 100% for the employee's individual health/welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, etc). Dependents are at a cost to the employee. In addition, LESD provides a $ 1,000-per-year Career Enrichment program for employees. Requirements / Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: ** High School graduate with two years of increasingly responsible secretarial experience required ** A minimum typing speed of 50 wpm (net). Online typing test will be accepted ** Applicants must take and pass a written examination with 70% or better accuracy. REQUIRED DOCUMENTS (must be attached to your EDJOIN application): (Applications without Required Attachments will not be considered and will not be admitted to next steps) PDF copies work best as attachments. * Copy of High School Diploma or higher degree * Resume * 5 minute typing certificate (dated within 12 months) indicating a minimum net typing speed of 50 wpm or more.
