Requirements / Qualifications
Education and/or Experience: • High School Diploma or the equivalent; and • 2 years of college (48 units + ), or Associate's degree (A. A.) or higher; or 2-3 years experience in a school setting working with children • Pass a local assessment of reading and math skills. Tutoring experience a plus, and knowledge of SPED policies and processes and experience with special needs students in preferred.

In this role, you’ll provide one-on-one or group support during class, electives, recess, and school activities, helping the student/s engage with curriculum and daily routines. What we’re looking for in the ideal candidate: Patient, kind, and observant; Friendly and collaborative with teachers and parents; First aid training preferred. * Virtual Special Education competency test will be administered as part of the hiring process.
