SMUSD is seeking a strategic thinker, an influential coach, and an exceptionally reliable professional, possessing: Expertise in Systems: Deep familiarity with the research and system design surrounding Inclusive Practices, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), specifically within the P-3 grade levels Developmental Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of the developmental needs of young children (P-3), including expertise in early childhood behavior and social-emotional development Coaching & Professional Development: Strong capacity to develop and deliver effective professional development, training, and one-on-one coaching to educators Professional Reliability: Proven ability to be itinerant, manage time effectively, maintain a rigorous schedule, reprioritize when needed and directed, and demonstrate exceptional organization and punctuality across various school sites. Communication Excellence: Clear and professional written and oral communication skills for effective collaboration across all departments and with families Strong capacity to collaborate with the district’s existing Early Learning Team and leadership.
