Teach the introductory aspects of the automotive repair trade to middle school students.

Requirements / Qualifications

MATERIALS You must have the following: - Valid California Designated Subjects Career Technical Education (CTE) : Transportation teaching Credential in the field of automotive instruction to students in grades 7-12. - National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Master Automobile Certified Technician certification - English Learner (EL) Certification (ex. EL Authorization, Crosscultural Language and Academic Development (CLAD or ELA1) Certificate, Bilingual Authorization, etc.) - A minimum of 5 years automotive work experience is required.

You must include all of the following with your application. Documents must be uploaded to your application in order to be considered. - Letter of Introduction (Attach a letter of introduction in which you include a brief overview of experiences, education philosophy, talents and skills) - Letter(s) of Recommendation (Attach three recent (within one year) letters of reference) - Resume (Attach an updated, current resume) - Credential Copy w/Document # (Please look up your California Teaching Credential on the CTC website, save it as a PDF, and upload it to your Edjoin application) - EL Certification (Attach PDF documentation of your CTC issued certification if it's not included on your credential copy) - University Transcript(s)
