Requirements / Qualifications

-Bachelor’s degree (BS or BA) preferred in nutrition, dietetics, food service management, family and consumer sciences, nutrition education, culinary arts, business, or a closely related field. -Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience in school food service management or a related area. -Experience managing and supervising food service personnel is preferred. -Knowledge of sanitation and safety regulations applicable to food service operations. -Possession of a current Food Safety and Sanitation Certificate or the ability to obtain certification within sixty (60) days of employment. -Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation. -Proficiency in operating computers, related software, and standard office equipment. -Ability to work collaboratively and maintain positive working relationships. -Strong oral and written communication skills. -Must possess a valid California Driver’s License.
