Job Summary
Under the immediate direction of the Superintendent and/or designee, to provide an educational program for pupils in grades 7 and 8 or a combination thereof, and assist in other school programs as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications
Required Qualifications • Credential: Appropriate California Teaching Credential; Single Subject: Art or Multiple Subject with authorization. • Education: Bachelor’s degree, including all courses needed to meet credential requirements. Must meet the NCLB requirements. • Better than average recommendations from professionals who have observed personal characteristics, scholastic attainment, and classroom performance. Must be able to establish good working relationships with other professionals.

Will be placed on the Certificated Salary Schedule based on 184 service days, 7.5 hours per day. The district will accept up to 12 years of experience. Prepaid medical, vision, and dental provided for employee and family.
