Requirements / Qualifications

Summer School Lead Teachers support the planning, organization, and development of the curriculum for various content areas. Leads will work with district staff members in creating and daily maintenance of student data spreadsheets, organizing and supporting supply distribution, and using multiple platforms to pull and disaggregate site data. A solid foundation in technology understanding is essential, including but not limited to creating and maintaining curriculum via Google Sheets, mastery of all other Google Workspace for Education Fundamental tools, and OMSD student information and communication systems (including Q and Parent Square). Lead Teachers are responsible for daily planning, collaboration, and communication with district personnel, other site summer leads, and summer site personnel. Lead Teachers oversee student safety on campus, including student rostering, attendance, and conducting emergency drills, and lead in behavior management and PBIS initiatives. Credential Requirement- Teaching Credential, with English Learner Authorizations; Applications should be submitted online by February 12, 2026 at 4 PM Paper applications WILL NOT be accepted.
