Job Summary
Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Business Services or designee, the Director of Information Services and Technology will provide leadership, direction, and coordinate District-wide technology initiatives. This includes the planning, implementation, management, and maintenance of all technology infrastructure, security, devices, applications, and data systems. The Director will also provide management and leadership of the District’s technology, strategic planning, and implementation of system-wide technology solutions. In alignment with the District’s vision for teaching and learning and a continued commitment to service, the Director of Technology will develop systems of support to strategically plan and respond to technology needs.
Requirements / Qualifications
Valid California Administrative Services Credential At least 5 years of successful experience as a school site principal. District-level administrative experience (desirable). Minimum of three (3) years of administrative, supervisory, or leadership experience in a K–12 educational setting. Experience with instructional technology integration, data systems, and technology infrastructure in a public school environment. Experience mentoring and coaching staff and peers.
