Currently, we one 7th–8th grade math opening at Loomis Grammar School and 7th–8th science openings at Loomis Basin Charter School and Placer Elementary for the 2026–27 school year. Interested candidates may apply directly through this posting for all of those positions. Additionally, middle school teachers who are interested in joining Loomis Union School District are encouraged to apply to be considered for our eligibility pool. As additional middle school openings arise, qualified applicants from the pool may be contacted to fill those positions. * Our board just approved an annual stipend for anyone we hire into a 7th-8th math or science position who holds a valid CTC-issued single subject math or science authorization. Annual stipend amounts are below: Math-Science Credential Stipend* Yrs 1-3 $2,500 Yrs 4-6 $3,000 Yrs 7-9 $3,500 Yrs 10+ $4,500
