Job Summary
Job Summary
The Principal serves as the educational leader and chief administrator of alternative education sites. The Principal is responsible for implementing and managing the policies, regulations, and procedures of the San Benito County Office of Education Alternative Education programs to ensure that all students are supervised in a safe, child-centered learning environment that meets and exceeds the Common Core Standards, following the approved curricula and directives of the school. Achieving academic excellence requires the Principal to work collaboratively by leading all members of the school staff and to communicate effectively with parents, members of the community, and colleagues in other districts and schools. Inherent in the position are the responsibilities for planning curriculum development, program evaluation, extracurricular activities, personnel management, financial management, emergency procedures, resource scheduling, and facilities operations. - Possess a valid California Administrative Services Credential - Experience or training in dealing with the educational needs associated with students in an alternative setting is highly desirable. - Bilingual ability (English/Spanish) is highly desirable

Full-time position with employee medical and dental benefits available (includes spouse and dependent coverage). Employer contribution $20,000 (prorated based on start date)
Master's Degree stipend $1,200; Doctorate Degree stipend $2,400
$5,000 bonus to be paid upon successful completion of the 2026-2027 fiscal school year
Longevity: 2.5% increments at year 6, 8, 11, 16 and 20
$80.00 Monthly Cell Phone Stipend
