Job Summary

Job Summary

The Executive Director, Human Resources & Organizational Development, shall serve as the Chief Human Resources Officer of the District. The job of Executive Director, Human Resources & Organizational Development includes but is not limited to providing leadership and accurate, legally compliant and timely information to the Board, District Superintendent, staff and public regarding hiring, evaluating and dismissal processes of employees, bargaining and negotiating, and implementation of Education Code, District policies and procedures related to employees. This position will also serve as the hub for both individual staff development and overall organizational development processes as well as the professional culture of the District and provide leadership and/or support in a variety of administrative functions. The Executive Director is directly responsible to the District Superintendent.

Requirements / Qualifications

Job Requirements – Qualifications: • Experience Required: Prior job related experience with increasing levels of responsibility in a school district. • Education/Experience: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a B.A. or B.S. degree in public administration, industrial psychology, labor relations, public personnel management, or other closely related field. Five (5) years of progressively responsible professional experience in school district leadership, personnel management, employer-employee relations. Master's Degree in one of the fields (or closely related field) listed above is desirable. Significant physical abilities include reading/handling, talking/hearing conversations, near visual acuity/visual accommodation. • Licenses, Certification, Bonding and/or Testing Required: Administrative Credential or equivalent, valid Driver's License and evidence of insurability, Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance. Documents required with application: • Introduction Letter • Current Resume • Three Letters of Recommendation (dated within the past 12 months with at least one from a direct supervisor) • College Transcripts
