Job Summary
The Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Innovation was established for the purpose/s of managing the overall delivery of the curriculum program and services; providing information and serving as a resource to others; achieving defined objectives by planning, evaluating, developing, implementing, and maintaining services in compliance with established guidelines; and serving as an integral member of the leadership team that advocates for the program. This position reports to the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services.
Requirements / Qualifications
Administrative Credential
Experience and Education: * School-based teaching and administrative experience is preferred, as is experience in higher education. * MA (Masters Degree) in Education from an accredited university or college. * 3+ years experience as a school administrator * Four (4) years of teaching experience in a variety of grade levels/subjects preferred * Three (3) to five (5) years of increasingly responsible management experience preferred

Seeking a dynamic equity-minded instructional leader to serve in the Franklin-McKinley School District who demonstrates commitment, moral purpose and a compelling vision for serving a rich culturally and linguistically diverse community. The Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Innovation must possess a strong background in curriculum as well as knowledge and experience in culturally responsive pedagogy, English Learner education including dual Immersion, instructional technology, MTSS and evidence-based practices relevant to FMSD’s population. The applicant must be a relationship builder who collaborates effectively with staff, community organizations, and external partners and can meet the complex demands of an exciting, rapidly changing system focused on meeting the academic and social-emotional needs of our FMSD Global Learners.
