Superintendent Search: Vacaville Unified School District The Vacaville Unified School District Board of Trustees invites a visionary, collaborative, and student-centered leader to serve as its next Superintendent. Nestled between San Francisco and Sacramento, VUSD is a vibrant district serving approximately 12,500 students across 18 award-winning schools. The ideal candidate we are seeking is an inspirational leader who will: Champion Early Learning: Continue the vital work of our Educational Services Team on everyone reading at grade level by third grade. Provide Strategic Fiscal Oversight: Navigate complex budget cycles with transparency and expertise, ensuring resources are prioritized for the classroom. Engage the Community: Act as a visible and approachable ambassador, strengthening partnerships with the City of Vacaville, local businesses, and our dedicated families.
