QUALIFICATIONS: A valid California Administrative Services credential A Master’s degree or Doctorate degree A minimum of five years of successful teaching experience TK-12 teaching experience desirable Successful experience as a site principal TK-12 administrative experience desirable Successful district office administrative and cabinet level experience preferred Bilingual preferred

Petaluma City Schools’ management employees are expected to demonstrate a commitment to the District effort on behalf of young people and adult learners in our community. They are expected to work with students, staff, parents and colleagues in a warm and supportive manner consistent with the District emphasis upon affective domain values. They are also expected, by their own example, to inspire others to the goal of life-long learning. Additionally, they are expected to maintain a clear focus on student welfare and achievement and to work in a collegial fashion with the entire District staff.
Offer of employment is contingent upon fingerprint clearance. There is a fee required by the Department of Justice, payable by the applicant, to process fingerprint clearance. Evidence that applicant is free from tuberculosis in accordance with Education Code 49406 is required.
