Students gain mastery of Chinese reading, writing (Simplified Characters), Mandarin listening, and speaking through whole-class instruction, small-group activities, and individualized learning opportunities. Student progress is evaluated using the ACTFL Proficiency Benchmarks. Requirements / Qualifications
- Completed Buckeye Union School District (BUSD) application (via EdJoin) - Cover letter - Resume - Three current letters of recommendation (within the last two years) - Copy of valid teaching credential & Bilingual Authorization in Mandarin (BAMA) - Copy of EL Authorization (if not included in credential) Credential and Certificate Requirements: A Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and a Bilingual Authorization in Mandarin (BAMA) are required for this position.
