The Speech and Language Therapist is directly responsible to the Director of Special Education. The primary function of this position is to identify and remediate communication disorders of students.

Requirements / Qualifications

VUSD is seeking several Speech and Language Pathologists. Pre-K through Grade 12 . Valid California Speech-Language Pathology Credential is required. This is for the 2026-27 School year $1879 additional pay for your Masters *$1879 additional pay for your Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or doctorate Speech-Language Pathology Credential = $3594 additional yearly stipend Separate Salary Schedule for our Speech and Language Pathologists Speech-Language Pathologists have flexible work hours outside of the instructional day and when not mandated to attend training and/or an IEP meeting within their duty day
