Range $22.88 - $27.89. Salary is commensurate with experience. Open: January 3, 2026 Closed: February 28, 2026 JOB SUMMARY The Special Education Academic Coach II is responsible for ensuring that students with diverse needs have access to our general education curriculum. Special Education Academic Coaches are essential to maintaining our low student-teacher ratio and ensuring all students get the individualized attention requisite for success. Duties include: Assist teachers by working with individual students with mild/moderate behavioral or academic needs on a one-to-one basis 1:1 duties may include but are not limited to - possible light toileting and hygiene support - attending to student basic health and safety needs - implementation of a behavior intervention plan - 1:1 support provided in various settings - monitoring mild to moderate medical needs

Requirements / Qualifications

EDUCATION - High School diploma/GED and - An Associate's degree (or higher) or - 48 or more eligible units of coursework at a recognized college or university or - Met a rigorous standard of quality and can demonstrate, through a formal State or local academic assessment, knowledge of, and the ability to assist in instructing, reading (or readiness), writing (or readiness), and mathematics (or readiness).
